There are quite a few good Danish children's wear designers. Yes, some Zara garnments for kids are just impossible to be active in. Coats that restrict their movements and dressy shoes. But I have found some really cute things there as well. I wouldn't want to wear matching outfits, though:)!Garderobenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03161904037115154418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4267737362551069000.post-64473997442117063912011-04-24T06:58:04.827-07:002011-04-24T06:58:04.827-07:00I LOVE the outfit and what a great deal you got! ...I LOVE the outfit and what a great deal you got! I would of bought it for my daughter for 24 euros too. Looks exactly like the type of clothes I like her to wear - comfortable and easy to move in. The best quality clothes I've bought for her is IdaT from Denmark. They have the best quality cottons and the sizes are a little larger than most other brands I've bought so they give a little more room to grow. I also agree that many Zara kids clothes are very poor quality and not appropriate styles for more active kids. I actually quite dislike adult design clothes for children but I guess if one likes to have matching outfits with their child, Zara can be a solution.Wendy Wonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03100351577387972390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4267737362551069000.post-90149326326899004282011-04-24T04:55:16.050-07:002011-04-24T04:55:16.050-07:00That's a good practice !I've never thought...That's a good practice !I've never thought of it that clearly but some of my middle son's clothes end up in my daughter's closet so I might do this more consciously.Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00983379246655422263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4267737362551069000.post-6080068656160651112011-04-24T02:50:30.762-07:002011-04-24T02:50:30.762-07:00miss sophie - she loves to climb trees! I'll fix it, it might not look great but that's what kids do.

Amanda - I know what you mean. I think I used to have that image of "moms" as well. It's very important to me to remain the same person as I was before I had kids. Of course I'm different in some ways now, but I've always been very interested in style and fashion and I'm glad that hasn't changed. I wear my "nicer" clothes to work and when I meet my friends without kids, I don't want to ruin them playing in the park. When I went back to work after my maternity leaves I was so happy to be able to wear silk shirts and nice jackets again!

Emmy - she's a doll! I have to wear clothes that are low maintenance, I spend a lot of time in parks/playgrounds, and get so dirty!

J - Thanks! The A.P.C sandals a a couple of years old, but still good.

Angie - I know, they wear the clothes for such a short period of time, so expensive doesn't make any sense. A lot of the clothes I buy from Mini Rodini are unisex, so both my children can wear them. In that case I don't mind paying a bit more.Garderobenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03161904037115154418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4267737362551069000.post-55688868230071439442011-04-23T02:48:54.642-07:002011-04-23T02:48:54.642-07:00I have 3 children aged 12,10,8. For my girl I exclusively buy from Zara. Not particulary good quality but nice design.good for the time being and I hope she follows my example one day.Buy less but good quality. It's a paradox but with childrenwear it's the best policy. My boys are on athletic sports style all Adidas,Nike ,champion stuff of equally bad quality but we don't want to break the bank for something to wear for only a short time.Enjoy the brake and the park times!Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00983379246655422263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4267737362551069000.post-69848599980454429872011-04-23T01:40:57.737-07:002011-04-23T01:40:57.737-07:00I love botch your outfits! Maybe I'll look for something for my son there!

Jennifer - I know - hooray!! I could have worn shorts today, but it just felt too strange, it was freezing 3 weeks ago. My daughter had to change clothes today too, we didn't realise how warm it was. This is such a great week to be off work, my hasband is on paternity leave, so lots of family quality time in the sun.

Fleurette - she will be four in July! I can still decide on what clothes she wears, but she loves everything pink/hello kitty, but so far she settles for socks and pyjamas!Garderobenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03161904037115154418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4267737362551069000.post-24325305082337062452011-04-22T13:39:23.160-07:002011-04-22T13:39:23.160-07:00Haha, so fun! I know what you mean, I find it very easy to find cute little boys clothes for that not expensive (Old Navy, Gap which has frequent discount codes). Yet when I peek at the girl's section, the colors and prints are not so appealing. I often see cute girls' clothes from brands like Makie and such, but the price is outrageous for clothes that will be worn for such a short period of time. I'm with you too, I always dress my son in little tshirts and sweat pants, because I don't want to restrict his movement, and I'm trying to encourage him to dress himself, which is easier when your clothes don't have zippers and buttons!Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02498676439284533678noreply@blogger.com
