Lazy weekend

We've had a really slow weekend here, now we're off for lunch with some friends. Yesterday I was wearing an Etoile thermal top, J Brand jeans and Hope Macy boots. Today Rag and Bone cords (the picture's really bad but they're actually burgundy) and Etoile sweater. Hope boots.

  1. Two fantastic outfits! That sweater is so great. I almost bought the Etoile thermal top a couple weeks ago, but changed my mind at the last minute. Now you're making me second guess my decision. :)

I love the Hope boots too!

  2. I absolutely love both of your outfits! And with that figure of yours, it's hard for me to believe that you've had two children.. so, it gives me hope that may be fitting into my clothes even after having children (probably in 10 years.)

I never find that thermal top from IM. I see it often on French style blogs but never in the stores... :-(

  3. Jennifer and Fleurette, thanks! The thermal top is an eBay find. I haven't seen it it stores either. My Hope Stockholm boots are among my favourites. I've had the flat pair for many years, and they just look and feel better with age. They are hand made, and so soft.
Thanks Fleurette for the kind comment on my post baby figure, it means a lot to hear that, even if that makes me seem superficial. My son is only 9 months old, and I can't tell you how good it felt to be able to wear my normal clothes again. That part of pregnancy isn't my favourite part!I'm glad I've I won't do it again! I was lucky enough to be able to wear my skinny jeans after a couple of weeks (the ones that are a bit too big..)

  4. Both outfits are great! And thanks for the detailed shots of the Hope boots. The flat pair is exactly what I was hoping to find (but never did) this past winter ... do you know if Hope repeats styles? You make it all look so easy, never trying too hard, just simple, laid back, and cool. You have many things that I wish I hadn't overlooked ... I *need* more crewneck sweaters!

  5. Thanks again S! Yes, Hope repeats styles, that's one of the things I like about Hope. I haven't seen this one repeated, though. I'll let you know if I see any. You can check http://www.hope-sthlm.com/ for updates.
I used to wear cardigans all the time, instead of crewneck sweaters. I got so sick of cardigans after my second pregnancy. That's all I used, skinny maternity jeans, a black top and cardigans. I prefer crewnecks now, but I've just started using some of the cardigans again. The Swedish winter...you need cardigans.

  6. i LOVE your Hope Macys! they look so comfortable yet not clunky - just enough of the balance of a streamlined shape but made for walking! :) hope to see them in more of your looks soon...all of my Hope shoes have been beautifully designed and comfy. they probably make some of the best shoes on the market right now.

  7. Miss Sophie - I'm glad to have found another Hope lover! The Macy boots are exactly what I hoped that they'd be. They are so different from the IM boots, except from the heel height. I like that they're slim around the ankle, it works out well with rolled up jeans and pants, and dresses as well. Beautiful workmanship.
