On the list #3

Last week I purchased something that actually was on my wishlist, a pair of wedge espandrilles from A.P.C, the ones I was considering. I've been looking for a pair of sandals with a comfortable heel for a long time. They will be a summer equivalent to my IM boots. I'm very happy with them, the colour of the leather is a lot nicer in person compared to the online shop picture. Still one the list are: a perfect black blazer (not something I'm actively looking for since I got the Elali jacket, even if it's not a blazer), black slouchy skinny jeans, black knit and shorts (I think I've found them, but I'm not 100% sure yet).

A.P.C wedge espandrilles with a Hope linen knit sweater and J Brand jeans.

  1. I love them! They look really nice on you as well.
Which shorts are you thinking of buying? I need a new pair, too. I have two pairs which I don't like at all. The black pair I have are too short, they're pretty much hotpants and I don't like the studs on my denim pair anymore...

  2. You look great as always! It makes such a difference to switch out your footwear. It's basically your same look, but switching boots for sandals instantly makes this look right for the warmer months. I hope APC continues to do this heel height. Have you seen that one picture in front of the APC store where the woman is wearing the wedge sandals but in a snakeskin print? Oooh, I would love that in a lower wedge.

  4. Love love love this. I love how you manage to make the simplest things look great.
I agree with Emmy that you can never go wrong with apc. I'm not into espandrilles, to be honest, BUT somehow APC makes them look so tempting and great. I really want these sandals!

  5. heart in a cage - Thanks! I'm thinking these: http://www.hope-sthlm.com/1/1.0.1.0/54/1/?item=prod_prod-s1/14167&group=prod_prod_grp-s1/16. I'd prefer the black ones, but they seem sold out everywhere. I like the khaki colour as well. It's so hard to find nice shorts!

S - Thanks! No, I haven't seen that picture, it's beautiful, and so are the wedges! Is that the same height as yours?

emmy - I know, especially when it comes to footwear!

Fleurette - Thanks! I know, I've felt just the same way about espandrilles, that's why I was a bit hesitant when I saw them online. That changed when I tried them on in person! I've never owned any espandrilles before, but these are completely different from others I've seen. The leather is beautiful.

  9. lin - I agree, it's great when you can wear your favourite things all year round with different shoes! Hope makes this sweater every year, this year in nude, black and mineral. I'll keep an eye out for a navy version! The back is lovely with buttons like a cardigan.

S - it seems quite impossible, but it looks good! I'm also too practical for that height, though.

Maya - Of course, these are actually 912, pencil, the wash is called Murphy. They're my favourites. I have a black and an ink pair in the 910 style, but I always end up with these. And thanks, that really means a lot to me!

  15. Milly - I agree, and they're so hard to find! The perfect blazer, I'll never find it. The one on the Garance Doré picture is pretty much perfection.
