Burgundy+blue by Garderob featuring a mandarin collar jacket
I love the colour combination burgundy and blue. This shirt is beautiful, and quite expensive. I got the Rag & Bone flats on final sale last year, when it was already too cold to wear them. I'm hoping I'll be able to soon. I just sold my A.P.C spring coat, but I still have this jacket for chilly spring mornings. The Etoile jacket in the picture is nice, but not what I'm looking for. I would still like to try the Etoile Chuck. I've seen the longer version of the jacket, Clark, in a light blue colour here at Metier. A blue Chuck might work, right?
I really like the way that you play with subtle colors. You've really inspired me to explore color more ... I'm not sure I would have even thought too much about the red/navy/white sweater if I hadn't seen how beautiful it looked on you! I really like the color of that blue ... I haven't seen anywhere carrying the Chuck in blue though. And the Rag & Bone shirt has such a beautiful, rich color. Topped off with the deep green? Goodness, you have an eye for color. Great outfit!
ReplyDeleteIf I could pull off a plaid shirt, I would.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just found your blog. It rocks!

S - I just realised that the bag is green! I thought it was black:). They have the blue jacket in the picture in a store here in Malmö. I've got it in plaid (I'm wearing it as a shirt in an oufit somewhere, I think it's the Going out for an I.P.A post). I'm glad that I've inspired you to explore colours! I'm quite conservative when it comes to colours, but I love blue and burgundy. But I also have a green Etoile linen jacket, so maybe I'm not so conservative after all! I've seen the Chuck in blue on eBay...
ReplyDeleteMari - Thanks for stopping by! The shirt is lovely, wish I could find it on sale.
I tried on that jacket in Paris. It's so nice and casual, but I wish they had the jacket in beige or something..
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I can't decide between gypsy water and blanche. do you think buying 100 mL is worth the money? the perfum is frickin expensive, or maybe they are cheaper in sweden? how many sprays do you spray on? i don't like perfumes that disappear after 4 hours even though they're eau de parfum.
Fleurette - I think it's worth the money, but both of them were gifts from my husband (not married but we live together, I'm too old for a boyfriend, haha - sambo is the Swedish word). I think they're about 1200 SEK here. I'll have to say that Gypsy water lasts longer, longer than any perfume I've had before. All day. It smells great throughout the day as well. I only spray once with both. Blanche is more subtle, and doesn't last as long. Maybe I should spray twice. I wouldn't spray GY twice. They will last for a VERY long time. I use them daily, and it hardly shows. There's a great store here that carries them, Très Bien Shop. Let me know if you want me to check availability+price for you.
ReplyDeleteSamboer, jeg forstår, haha!
ReplyDeleteThe Byredo perfums are 1250 NOK and 140 euros in Paris. But I have come to a realization, that I am more partial to the bottle itself than the scents.. I tried on both gypsy water and blanche today, and now that I smell them on me, I don't think they're as great as the first time and I still think that my Coco Mademoiselle leaves a subtle, but fresh scent. SO, this is very weird but I am very interested in buying your empty bottles when you've finished your perfums. haha!
I know, the bottles are lovely (designed by Acne). It might take forever before I finish them, but I'll let you know if I do!
