Once a week or so I try to wear something other than jeans. During summer it's easier, thin cotton or linen trousers, but for now I have these Etoile wool trousers that are like a sweatpant/mens trouser combination. With Hope top and Hope boots.
It's a slightly different look for you, but it looks great! Those pants look really nice and comfy, you should be wearing them more! I always have a hard time figuring out what kind of shoes to wear with pants like this. I always default to ballet flats, but this looks good. Makes me more determined to get those boots, if they ever make them again. Btw, I ended up ordering a plaid tunic very similar to yours, in a rust/navy combo. I hope I like the color in person
Thanks! I know, I have the same problem with pants and shoes. It's too cold for ballet flats, so the Hope boots come to the rescue again! The IM boots work as well. The pants are too long, and there are zippers at the bottom, so I can't fold or roll them up. I hope you'll find the sweater somewhere else. Just let me know if you become obsessed with something else, and I'll check it out. The city where I live is pretty small (300.000, although 3rd largest city in Sweden:)), but threes stores carry Etoile. There's not really the same IM hype here as in the States, I think, but I'm fearing we're getting there.
See, it's the length problem. For cropped pants, I feel pretty confident about wearing ankle boots. But I get confused with full length, non skinny pants. However, I noticed that I like my green pants (very long) *over* ankle boots vs tucked in, which is something I haven't done in a while. The sweater is nice, but I'm pretty doubtful I will find it. I don't know any stores that ordered that particular sweater, and the other crewneck styles sold out instantly while I was waiting for the cable version to arrive somewhere. But it's ok, I try to remind myself I've been lucky with some other buys (the Bator coat for example or even the cream sweater I got). I'm really looking forward to the tunic though, perfect weekend wear.

And yes, I think I saw that tunic at Creatures of comfort. Looks beautiful.
